KRU is guided by the principle of priority of workers' safety, aims to create a healthy and safe working conditions, to encourage a responsible attitude of employees to the production process and to their own safety.
On each division of the company operates multi-level system for monitoring and control of occupational health and safety.
Over the past five years, the frequency rate of injuries per 1000 employees in the main production areas of the company steadily declined, and continues to be significantly lower than the average in the Russian Federation.
Systematic medical monitoring allows KRU to anticipate and identify at an early stage occupational diseases for employees engaged in heavy work or work in hazardous or dangerous working conditions, including underground mining. These preliminary examinations held for admission to work.
